CT Group holds e-discussion on Third Swing of Covid-19: Suggestions and Effects

Centre for Career Planning and Counseling, CT Group of Institutions has organized a Virtual Health Conclave on Third Swing of Covid-19: Effects and Suggestions.



Jalandhar, May 24, 2021: Centre for Career Planning and Counseling, CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur has organized a Virtual Health Conclave on Third Swing of Covid-19: Effects and Suggestions. The session was joined by more than 435 attendees.

The session was designed to spread awareness about the various aspects of COVID-19’s third wave and how it can be avoided and what can be done. The guest speakers namely Advocate Vikrant Rana-Director Legal, International Human Rights Organization; Dr. Paras Khullar-MD, Pediatrics and Dr. Ashutosh Gupta-MD, DCH have talked on the various aspects related to it.

Advocate Vikrant Rana discussed about the various legal provisions and laws related to Covid-19. He threw light over the penalties which can be imposed on one person who by-passes the law and provisions made for Covid-19 control like not wearing of a mask, not following social distancing or black marketing of medicines, or injections. Whereas, Dr. Paras Khullar talked about the control and preventive measures of COVID-19 and also made aware of the testing and remaining calm during this time. He emphasized on the COVID patients that they should home quarantine themselves and take an adequate diet when they are at a mild stage. Thereafter, he apprised that the new diseases regarding third wave could emerge if individuals got careless and didn’t ensure themselves. The recurrence and sizes of such high points and low points should be decreased.

Dr. Ashutosh Gupta emphasized basically upon the children that they should be kept separately from the other family members who have got symptoms of COVID-19 and also advised to use a surgical mask as well as to keep the social distancing. He further said that the repeated mutation of the third wave of coronavirus is a matter of concern since it isn’t easy to predict for how long the pandemic will last or even slow down.

CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh and Manager, Centre for Career Planning and Counseling Vansh Raheja said that masks can help prevent the spread of the virus to others and appealed to stop spreading myths or vague information regarding to COVID-19 as it creates panic amongst citizens.
