CT Institute of Technology and Research Celebrated Deepawali in the department on 21 October 2022
CT Institute of Technology and Research celebrated the Cultural event named “Deepawali: The Prosperity Bringer” on 21st October 2022. It is one of the major religious festivals that celebrate Rama's eventual defeat of the evil spirit Ravana, and his triumphant return to his home. Some celebrate Diwali as a commemoration of the marriage of Lakshmi and Vishnu, while others observe it as the birthday of Lakshmi. In the lead-up to Deepawali, celebrants prepare by cleaning, renovating, and decorating their homes and workplaces with diyas (oil lamps) and rangolis (colorful art circle patterns). The Event was attended by a large number of students, faculty, and staff members.
North Campus Director Dr. Yogesh Chhabra, Er. Price Verma (HOD of CSE/ECE) department applaud students and motivate them. In this event, students participated in the competitions like Rangoli, Poster making, and Diya decoration. They also participated in cultural events like singing, dancing (solo, Giddha, and Bhangra), Modelling, and Poetry. Students also hold positions in various competitions.
