More than 350 CT alumni across globe attend AlumniMeet
Jalandhar, May 31, 2021: It was an evening to rekindle memories, as more than 350 students from different batches of CT Group of Institutions, North Campus Maqsudan and South Campus Shahpur gathered for a virtual Alumni Meet 2021-A Reunion.
Friends, classmates and mentors shared the memories and experiences of their college days. The main objective to organize this mega virtual meet was to provide a common e-platform for the passed-out students i.e. CT Alumni, who are settled in different countries, to re-live their moments and cherish the old memories associated with friends, teachers and their educational institutions’ life.
The evening began with a formal welcome by the moderator Kanwarpreet, PRO of CT Group, followed by inspirational words by Chairman Charanjit S Channi, Campus Directors Dr. Rahul Malhotra and Dr. Yogesh Chhabra. This was followed by live Bhangra performance by alumni Amandeep and Anil from Bhangra Crew Dubai.
The alumni on prestigious positions shared their success stories. These included names like Navneet Kaur Gill from Canada, Manpuneet Singh from Canada, Amandeep from UAE and Suhail Bhatt from Kashmir etc.
Manpuneet Singh, one of the alumni from the first batch of 2004-08 B.Tech Mechanical Engineering said, “I feel lucky to be a part of CT Group. Whatever I am today, either personally or professionally is just because of the regular guidance of my teachers and friends.”
Another alumnus Navneet Kaur Gill from Canada shared, “I can describe my journey at CT in one word and i.e. Amazing. Culturally diverse community, opportunities to explore the worldly interaction with intellectual minds and not to forget co-cultural activities that keeps you on your toes. All this has instilled confidence and achievers’ attitude in me.”
Charanjit S Channi, Chairman, CT Group, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Deans Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma, Dr. Sangram Singh and Deputy Dean Student Affairs Davinder Singh extended their gratitude to the alumni and wished them success for their future endeavours.
CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh said that this has been our second virtual alumni meet and we have got a wonderful response as this is a great platform to see each other after so long and especially during the time of pandemic.
